  2. Thanks... No, you're right it's purely decorative. I'm trying to find a stable wood ... nice grain.... but with very few knots... Do you know if these two pine woods are readily available at a reasonable price?
  3. Hi, my local timber merchant has quoted me to mill some 9mm thick 95mm wide PTGVG cladding out of Idigbo timber. It works out about 50% dearer than off the shelf DIY superstore spruce T&G V Groove same size. I'm drawn to the Idigbo timber as it has less knots and looks nicer. ........ BUT!...... I don't know much about it (Idigbo), Google says it's moderately heavy and not structural strong which is not really a problem <it's to be fitted in a motorhome as a ceiling (roof lining).> Any thoughts have I missed something important?
