  1. After hitting a lot of different bits of the screen (it’s hard to work out how to reply to someone when looking at a “post” from a small mobile phone screen as I do not have broadband at home to see the “page / post” on a larger screen) The model of Makita top handle that I own is a DCS 230T. I also own a Jonsereds 630 Super “2” (still my favourite even though it’s now getting old), an Echo CS501SX, an Echo CS8002, a Makita DCS 4301 and a Efco TS327 pole-saw. Hope this additional information is of some use and apologies if I have done something wrong by hitting bits of the screen that I should not have.
  2. Hi, I’m new here and I don’t like technology much so this may not go right, but here goes. I am thinking of replacing my Makita top handle saw with either a Echo or an Efco as I get on well with both the local dealers, but I could do with any advice / help offered on what make to buy. The Makita has been a good saw, but is now showing its age (it will be retained as a backup). Thanks
