  1. Thanks for the posts folks and to @Stere for the link to the test video I’ve ordered an 18” light 04 bar and chain which I’ll be running on a Stihl MS261 I'll let you know how it goes

  3. Thanks both At this stage I’m just looking to mill a few trunks from trees I’ve felled in my own wood so 17” max is fine - first attempt without a mill was “interesting” ? but can see how this could get addictive ? Rob - I’ll give you a call next week.
  4. I'm looking to buy a log mill to use with my Stihl MS261. Looking like a choice between the Panther Cub or the Granberg Small Log Mill. Thoughts and advice appreciated folks
