  1. I probable mills once or twice a year, today I went to mill a scotch pine, had both a milling chain and a brand new normal full chisel chain. I was getting dust off it, the log was very wet but was doing 2.5 tanks of fuel per plank on a 10ft plank 38” width. Have never experienced anything like it. Any ideas why it was so slow and hard to mill?
  2. Where is the best place people have found to buy razor teeth?
  3. Excellent. Just didn’t want to get stopped and fined from clearing it back
  4. Do I need do get any permission to clear it or being blackthorn is it ok to get rid of it?
  5. Not sure if this is in the right area but, I have a 7 acre site I am looking at mulching. It is all thick blackthorn. I am not in conservation area, do I need to get any permits before starting? It was my family’s land and over the past 20 or so years it has gone from a field to very little grass area and we want to gain the space back again.
