  8. Purchased earlier this year, used daily for a few hours a day, more in the winter, was a really powerful blower when new, but all of a sudden has lost some power, cleaned fuel tank and changed filters, air filter, but still not much difference, have not done the valve adjustment yet to see if this would make any difference, anyone had similar problems and a fixable solution?

  16. I’m in the market for a towable petrol log splitter for home use and possible a bit of part time splitting service for customers, looking for a vertical/horizontal for comfort and ease of use, like the look of the Venom 22 ton for its price and good reviews, and possibly the Balfour 22, not sure on the Thor as probably be to expensive?, want to keep below the £2000 mark, any Black Friday deals on at the min, or good 2nd hand equipment about, based in Suffolk, and your options and real world experience on owning and using whatever you have. Regards Kieran.

  18. Hi, thanks for your replies , access to the rear of property is great, all open space no restrictions at all, nothing breakable it’s just a large open rear garden. Hedge tops are multi but it has been maintained by the previous owners, but not been cut for the last couple of years, just the side are over grown it’s over 10ft wide. Just moved into the property and wanted to open up the garden the best I can for this year. Also my new neighbour is chewing my ear about how big it is, it’s bloody hideous. Just thought this would be the cheaper option for this year as when I do have the money to close board it, it cost will be far more than what has been quoted. Thanks for all your replies.
  19. Good evening everyone, my first post on here, please be gentle lol, was wondering if I could ask your professional advice, I have a 14ft high x 100ft long leylandii hedge which I want reducing 2/3 ft off the top and 4/5 foot off the sides, I know it will look awful but it’s a temporary tidy in the garden before we remove and replace with close board fencing next year. Been getting a couple of quotes for the work to be done, but they differ greatly, job is to cut and chipper it and take chips away. Could I get some advice on genuine prices what people would charge?, so I can arm myself. Don’t want to get stitched up. Thanks for your help.
