Yeah as above a hitch climber set up will save your elbows a lot. Also cheap Cambium saver is worth it. Check eBay regularly and buy nearly new kit.
Once your happy with the hitch climber and climbing is earning you money a zig zag and spikes and you’ll be covered for most eventualities -
You would expect it throw it further than drawbar [emoji85][emoji23]
This is not acceptable really 🤣🤣 -
We had the 6” petrol Timberwolf on trial and did this with connie brash. The diesel was no probs. The Forst diesel hits the back of the truck no probs

Don’t think forst do a 24hp diesel but I could be wrong and yes it can be tuned up on the injection pump but that would invalidate the warranty, once out they I wound do it.
I’m trying to do some digging myself but trying find info on the the new tier 5 24hp Kubota is difficult as I only seem to come across the v1505 E tier 4 documents? Just wondering how different the engines are, if at all?
We have the new 24hp diesel forst at work now.- 1

Ah so your GM150 34hp chips @ 1800 rpm and the new Jensen and Forst 24hp @ 1360 rpm! Quite and significant difference of flywheel speed!
Wonder if the throttle can be adjusted to re-tune the new one to chip better? -
I think they run a bit slower than that, my GM 150 with a 34 hp engine is 1800 rpm when chipping.
Oh I l didn’t realise that - a 2022 ST6D when up to max reads out at 1400 on the digital display but I thought that was flywheel speed? Could we’ll be wrong though and it be rpm of engine.
I remember the old Schisling MX reading 1870
-
I’m pretty sure it’s the 25hp @ 2500 rpm so it’s running pretty steady. Think it’s only the throttle position stopping it running at 3000rpm and generating more hp?

201 hands down

Is it the detuned 1505 kubuta in it?

Putting a quick word in for Matt here [emoji4] he’s a great bloke and runs a really nice firm. Some of the most pleasant tree days I’ve had [emoji106] would be a great opportunity for someone as Matt is great teacher too!

Hello buddy, I have new OEM piston and cylinder if you’re interested. I had a spud ported 346 that was stolen so is no longer needed.

Why are you so concerned about what people are willing to work for in arb? 100 a day is similar to nurses, teachers all of which require degree level training. Are you on there forums also worrying about how much they earn?
Yes -
So no then.
Healthcare assistants are on the frontline -
Are front line health care workers on minimum wage? I think not.
Nurses and allied professionals no, healthcare assistants - yes. -
That was on 11.7 though - 10mm @ 70mm would be best

Hello mate! I asked this question a while ago and nice compact version is the 70mm/8mm viper cord from Marlow

Nice truck!

What are they going for with battery and charger. Looks good, how does it compare to the new echo battery top handle, any idea?
I have the Makita version and can be had for £360 with x2 6amp and fast charger. Time it with a free battery offer from Makita and you’ll get 2x extra batteries for free. Good saw, little heavy and the chain tensioner breaks too easily- 2

You’re aware there was a safety recall on it right?
Really? I brought mine 10/2020? Have you further info please -
Hitches can be compact by using just a piece of cord with a stopper knot at the end. The friction, or tension can be adjusted to your liking each time, very helpful with the VT. A 4-2 VT in the picture, the stopper also helps with tending, can be easily done without a pulley. I first tie an overhand for the stopper, test it, then add another behind it. The tether is 8” and still has room to not jam the hitch.
Great information thanks buddy. Running moving ropes atm - *till I learn the ropes*- 1

For your tickets you’ll need two ropes that reach the ground so 35ish meters each. Don’t bother with the 45m I’ve used mine a handful of times.
You’ll only need one hitch climber as the other just needs to tended for slack.
