  1. It was the hall floor out of a big posh house in Glasgow apparently.
  2. Thanks for your advice! That follows what I was thinking - can't find any pictures of worm damage that looks like it online.
  3. Hi all, I could do with some woodworm advice. Got a great deal on a reclaimed oak wooden floor, but now I've got it home, noticed lots of the boards have tiny black marks. Are they woodworm? They don't look like the holes I'm used to for woodworm (they are very small and don't seem to go anywhere). I've sanded one of the pieces to see how deep the damage goes, but can't find holes going through the wood. Thanks in advance for your help!
  4. Hey, thanks for all the good advice. Much appreciated!
  5. I thought I might volunteer my services for free to local tree surgeons if you can recommend anyone? (I see you are local too!) Would be really good to get some experience. Happy to do ground work and stuff.
  6. Hey, cheers for your reply. I'm based in Glasgow. Free caps and happy trainees sounds like a good sign!
  7. Hi, Keen to retrain as a tree surgeon after realising I can't hack a job indoors! Thinking of putting myself through the NPTC 201,202 & 203 (CS30,CS31) course offered by https://treevolution-scotland.co.uk/ . Does this seem a decent way to start? Can anyone recommend their training? Thanks for your help!
