  1. I am currently building a workshop in my garden. Unfortunately there is a small tree at the back of what is to be the back wall. I am thinking of making a brace from the frame work that will allow the tree to move in the wind without hitting the workshop. Simple timber frame. I would like to ask people what I should coat the frame in? Should I use a rubber or similar cover as I would not want to damage the tree and want to avoid it from also damaging my workshop. Any ideas would be appreciated. Many Thanks
