  1. Thanks Wayne I will be in touch asap.
  2. The wife and I are moving to the Cotswolds in the new year, I'm looking for any kind of work full/part time, contract. Got over 10 years experience, fully licenced and full clean driving licence. Can send my cv over to anyone interested. Thanks for your time.
  3. Evening all, Apologies if this is posted in the incorrect section, please inform me admins. I have posted this position on Facebook and I apologies (once again) if some of you have seen this and I have not replied to you, I have had many applicants but no excuse not to reply. www.desertgroup.ae is located in Dubai, last year I started up a tree division within the umbrella of the company mentioned. I am looking to employ a candidate who will most likely be pretty green to the industry as of the salary I can offer but this candidate will begin to slowly manage projects under supervision if required. We maintain large contracts with hotels like Atlantis, One & Only, Madinat Jumeriah and sofitels, whilst obtaining contracts with building contractors and facility management companies so our work varies. I'm sure many of you are asking yourselves how many trees can Dubai have and just to give you an idea, madinat Jumeriah has over 4000 trees including palm, yes... and a contract I am managing currently has 3350 not including the palms. so we do have plenty over here and the position will be on going. we can offer up to 1500 pounds a month housing Visa, health insurance company vehicle climbing kit training and progression The right candidate will hold at least CS30/31 full UK driving license knowledge of plants, trees, P&D & fungi would be a bonus. we will be using a recruiters to help in the process but that may take time to get going and with the large contracts and training keeping me busy I am finding it difficult to find new business and meet with existing clients. Hope this tickles some of your fancies.
  4. That is very nice of you, thanks I will check it out now. much appreciated
  5. I have been looking through the different grades online since you sent the link and other grades state you can pay monthly where as the ordinary grade you can only pay yearly, I know its still not much but I'm living and working in Dubai hence not being able to afford it currently. ill have to see if my company can front the costs. I appreciate the help anyways
  6. Thanks Paul, I am not a member unfortunately and cant afford the membership at the moment. I have been searching the web and found a generic tree specific form but I also need a site specific, would you know where I can look please?
  7. Hi All Does anyone have a link or be able to mail me a site specific risk assessment and generic risk assessment please. I would be very grateful. Thanks
  8. Evening All, I cant find anything on older posts but I have read posts about the Arbor trolley by stein, I want to make a motorized version of the trolley for use out here in Dubai as we have big open spaces but pristine lawns so the trailer Dan made in the post "Arbor trolley eat your heart out" wouldn't particularly work. plus I need to have an option for my guys to use while I'm not there as they don't drive so unless I get them a quad and the trailer it would be pointless. so basically whatever would be cheaper. iv got no experience in fabrication or design so any help you guys could share would be much appreciated, obviously I would have to think about payload and how much the engine could cope with but I am also struggling with dimensions like how long it should be to not get in the way of the driver and other parts, width is not really a problem. I'm thinking weight distribution and tipping (probably more things to think about) would be a problem as I don't want to leave marks on the ground and laying boards down is too much hassle. is there a website that would help me figure this out please. thanks
  9. Thanks but I was hoping for a little more detail on the matter!
  10. Evening all, I am having trouble with some newly planted Neem (Azaradica indica) and mangos (Mangnifera indica) that have been wrongfully positioned right on the seafront, they are getting battered by hot salty winds and cannot develop leaves properly. can anyone shed some more light on the issue as I have to write a report detailing the mess up with the plant selection. oh and further more the trees have been planted two inches too deep. Thank for reading my first post!
