  1. Without question, the best shredder on the market for home use is the Bosch AXT 25TC. It's got one of the largest cutting diameters for a domestic shredder at 4.5cm, and one of the most powerful motors. However, it isn't cheap at about £350! The next best option is the Bosch AXT Rapid 2200 shredder is a solid compromise between performance and value. However this is still about £170. But, if you're not too fussed about getting a known-brand model, there's a shredder by Dirty Pro Tools that has very similar performance to the Bosch 2200, but is half the price. I'm an avid gardener so as you can imagine, a garden shredder is one of my favourite tools. I pretty much use mine every weekend!
