I have run haeksler now about 2 years and if I should buy chipper now it would be some thing else. Its good machine but not worth of that price. Bad weldings and just not designed to end. Our has 18hp brigs and that destroys its own piston after 65hours of use..... Original spark plug just breaks and drop on cylinder head and after that it was done. Also the blades are little bit over priced imo. I think it is the same chinasium chipper what is just tuned in Europe and put some accessories to it.

Right now I have disc bearings failed and it's bad case. Bearing removal was nightmare and new bearing is 480€ piece... Also engine is losing some oil some where... So just good Vermeer no need to worry

I have also 362 and far as I know there is no fuel tap. The fuel line from tank to engine is long and when you run it empty it takes several minutes to get all air out of the line. Just worrying when you need to start it like 10minutes that start motor or cables give up. Fuel filter is front of the engine and you can see fuel going through it. If line is leaking closer to engine then you need to air the line often what could be the reason for you problem. And what comes to backfire I think it is just mark that everything is fine. Every time that I have had some problem whit that engine it has stopped firing.

I like use 200x on 540i, last usually one dismantling and it's not so bulky

Has anyone any information about difference between chippers with own engine versus hydraulic powered from other machine? Just thinkin is 18hp own engine small chipper better option than some kind of attached chipper to small loader with 23hp. Technically 23hp is more but I don't know how much of that is transferred to the chipper via hydraulics

I recently needed to contact the manufacturer because I need some spare parts. First I have quite hard time to find right person to talk with but after that it did go very well. I had some broken parts and I ask that I could buy those but instead I get them free to warranty. And they also send some parts that I don't even ask for, probably something that is expected to need to change soon. But the service by manufacturer is very good but they are little bit hard to reach.

Biggest downside looks to be the high infeed over the handlebars. 

Never thinked about that absorber would weaken mbs. Just with fast googling doesn't find anything about this. If you have some more info I would like to read it.

How people install shock absorber to boa ropes? With 2t it's not problem at all but with 4t it's almost impossible. Last time I did it today and at the end lubed rubber with grease from lift legs. Is there some trick what people use?

Using GoPro clips to attach lamp on protos

I’m looking to replace my Sena unit which is no longer charging and I’m looking at the X-com ear defenders as a possible replacement. I don’t often use the intercom on the sena but when I did it was very useful. I was just wondering if the X-coms can connect to other intercoms, or should I just bugged the expense and get another sena?
 
 

Is any one needed to service their smart winch? Our inner winch itself is wobbling little bit and just thinking is that maybe bad thing

Project farm made very nice video comparison of these sharpeners and I think it's worth of watching if going to buy one. I use old Oregon sharpener but only for bigger saws that are used to lower stumps etc.

I own few 3d printers and they are a nice hobby but it's not just buying one and making what ever you want to make. Usually I design and try different settings for few hours and the print itself takes 20mins. If those brackets are only thing you need I think it's better just buy those.

I have few of those and only problem that I have had with those is that some times when I start engine, starter drops battery level low for just couple of seconds but abax send me email that says it has been disconnected

Has anyone had need to change the pump connection clutch on 23hp? I need to do this in 190h. Rubber spacer between motor and pump connection just disappeared and after that it was just metal parts against each other and that lasted about 30 seconds. After that it doesn't do anything and need to winch out of the client backyard. Repairing was about 6 hours work and parts cost about 25e on local hydraulic service. Seller told me that this specific clutch assembly is suitable for 15hp engines...so I guess that this is going to be basic service for the machine. Has anyone else needed to do this?

23hp engine is probably needed if going to use second speed because even with bigger engine it stil some times feels under powered.

What sized engined machines are folk using? there 18hp or the 23hp? The lighter weight of the smaller machine is very appealing but obviously it is at a cost to power.

Another vote for atrax. Probably best rope I have ever used. Some has been said that mantel wear's out pretty quickly but I havent experienced that in now three years of active work. But yeah it's starts slip after a while but after that you only make your work faster.

Starting to get a few more units out there now, with the next 4 machine sold before we've taken delivery demand is growing, Here are a few customer photos we've had in. The intermercato grab is on a manual rotator that I've designed and have been playing around with, needs a bit of refinement but works in principle 

Sounds like something is not right. I use older hero 3+ and 5session and both of those can make multiple hours time lapse. If the settings are correct and the battery is full and it still does that , I would run factory settings and flash the memory card. If same then contact GoPro

Also done some narrow place snow removing so I made little extension to newer bucket grab. In that bucket side panels can be taken off by opening few bolts. After that it was pretty easy job to do some extra sides and bolt it to original bucket holes. Not for any heavy lifting but works nicely with snow and some lighter soils. 

Now machine has been tested in proper winter too. Here in Finland has been now about a month over minus 15 decrees and it has not been effected to machine almost at  all. Only thing is of course to let hydraulic lines to warm up but that´s it. But unfortunately we have had some problems with vanguard engine. Nothing to do with microbull manufacture but it makes some troubles. Engine smokes ignition plugs very fast and miss fires after that so far as the engine runs and then shuts off. I get service the engine in local briggs service and they don't find anything wrong with it. Only thing they get done was miss set vent head gaskets and after that engine pumped oil all over the engine... 

What kind of rpm you run engine when working? I have seen that it runs smoother in higher rpm. I would like to know if somebody else is having this same problem. 

Little bit late answer but I have found my self three options how to measure tipper payload. First is just add pressure gauge to tilt cylinder and convert pressure to weight. Second option is tool made by Reich. It's caravan weight control devise which is small plate that you drive over and it tells total weight and weight distribution. Seems working ok but I don't see it worth of 300€. Last that I have found is pretty interesting device called better weight, that plugs in cars obd port and it measures acceleration of vehicle and calculates the weight from that. Idea is nice but doesn't seems to be very reliable. And to me the deal breaker for this was that it's not working with manual transmission (made in USA)
