Job title: Work-Based Assessor in Arboriculture Location: Peripatetic (travel to all London college campus) Salary: £21,413 - £28,687 plus £1,791 London Weighting Full Time, Permanent Capel Manor College is London’s only specialist college for land-based studies and an internationally renowned learning resource for those interested in Horticulture, Animal Management, Saddlery, Arboriculture, Floristry, Garden Design, Countryside and the Environment. The College are currently looking for a Work-Based Assessor in Arboriculture who will act as an assessor/coach/ instructor in the workplace, undertaking the work based training review of trainees’ competences in accordance with the requirements of the relevant Standard’s Assessment Plan. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Visiting trainees’ workplaces to ensure that the employer understands and is compliant with the terms of the apprenticeship in terms of its delivery, funding and health and safety requirements. Taking the lead in supporting apprentices, ensuring they remain on track and responding to their needs. Exercising flexibility in responding to employer requests and responding to employers rapidly changing priorities to provide a responsive service. Providing apprentices and their employers with feedback from assessment and training plans and completion of portfolio (e-Portfolio).
