  1. Thanks for posting the pages, I'll have a look.
  2. Thank you. Looking at those prices it makes more sense to buy a piston and cylinder. Where do I get them for those prices?
  3. Have I not got a genuine cylinder?
  4. Here's some more pics.
  5. Ive got quite a good set of calipers and it's been measured all over and it's saying 42mm. I can't get them in the pot to measure it. What's a genuine piston look like? I've cleaned the top of it up, what's that say on the top left..... egg fried rice have I got a Chinese piston in it?
  6. It measures 42mm top, middle and bottom. Plus it's stamped up 42mm in the photo I posted earlier. I think it was straight fuel that caused the problem.
  7. Ok, I've put the calipers on it ands it's 42mm. Do I need a 42 or 42.5mm piston? See photos att. I want a decent piston but not a genuine one. Am I right in thinking I won't find a meteor one?
  8. Thank you for taking the time to reply. I'll get in touch with the supplier. Jason.
  9. Hi, I've got a 2007 MS230 with a badly scored piston. I've received a meteor piston for it in the post and it's too small. It's a 40mm one. Were there different sized barrels available on these saws? The barrel reads 1123-230/27. It also has an A stamp above this. The piston reads 042 & 065 on one side 2811 on the other. Thanks in advance Jason
