  1. Tractel got back to me, the serial number had hyphen and year of manufacure at the end. ie. -76. My tirfor is the new style, looking like the tu16's sold new today. I'm guessing it's one of the first batches of the new style, as the manual of the -78 model is looking like this. Maybe they made old and new simultaniously.

  3. Hi! I bought an used tirfor, (tu-16) but I don't know the age of it. The serial number ends with - 76, but a really doubt it's that old. Does anyone know if tirfor includes a year of manufacture in their serial numbers. The reverse operating lever has been painted to orange some time along the line.
