At risk of posting a rather self-serving request..... I can't help much with woodchip, but if anyone ever has any arb waste that I can cut and split myself for firewood in the Thames Ditton (KT7) area, I would be very appreciative. I sruggle to pick up from site due to lack of suitable vehicle, but folks have kindly dropped off before in return for a bottle of plonk.

Hi, I'm a newbie on the forum, and looking for some advice. I'm looking for an economical way to source 3-4m3 (stacked not loose) green hardwood logs for seasoning. To keep costs low I'm more than happy to split the logs myself, but any advice on how to source suitable length rounds would be much appreciated (I have no trailer/chainsaw). Is this something a local tree surgeon might be able to help with and if so what's my best bet, just ringing round a few? Any help much appreciated.
