  1. Lol. Yeah, everyone is sue happy
  2. Another thing, what's it take to get some of the certs?
  3. I did notice a lot of certification requirements, even for ground guys, which is good and bad nice for them to now more, but here, my guy knows how to run a porty, knots, saws, sharpening, and he doesn't have to spend money on certs to drag brush, it still pay for him to know stuff, he brings more of his own stuff, like a truck to haul away wood, and I pay him more.
  4. Someone told e people can't reply to the posts in employment and I should post my umber hope this is how it should look 001-413-841-6212, Dave
  5. Hi all I'm coming to visit, I hope, friends in Portsmouth, and do some other work while there. I had hoped to get in some tree work while there, but not sure I can. Is it possible? I'm a climber here, with my own small service in Massachusetts, mostly do removals and bigger limb trimming, not so much pruning. I posted in the employment section, but I got curious as to wether I actually can do a little cash work . I was born in Scotland in the early 70's and have dual citizenship that I haven't done anything with. I would love to do some overseas work, perhaps learn a few things you fellas do over there.
  6. I'd love it if I could earn enough to cover flight over
  7. Hello mates. I'm an American who was born in Scotland and have dual citizenship ( haven't filed paperwork, but am qualified ) I have friends and family over there I am trying to plan a visit for next week for about 2 weeks, from the 8th-22nd. I will likely be doing construction work for a mate in Portsmouth area., but would love to get in some tree work in while there. I climb( I have a small ree service of my own, but am not yet a certified Arborist, studying hard though ), and am pretty decent . I was hoping to arrange a bit of work with a company there to have a good time with. I served in Baghdad,Iraq with some British soldiers and they were hard working fellows ( I was in the US Army for 17 years) I don't now if I'd bring my gear, ( I could bring my saddle if need be) but was hoping to earn a good wage, maybe learn a few more tricks for you lot. If none could take me on, even if just as a groundie, I'd appreciate it, I could call to talk over details if the trip so going to happen. I have a place to stay, probably have a ride, but I dare not try driving on the wrong side of the road . Lol I really hope someone can hook me up if I come thanks for you time on this long post
