  1. Just aquired 2 x 550 xp's, a 2014 and 2016, I'm not offay with these auto tune carbs ..... so could someone enlighten me as to their quirks. started a strip down on the none runner, everything seems to be pointing towards the carb, tried to hunt down at least a carb repair kit to change diaphram/seals etc (walbro AT 12 612) or what carb (updated) can be fitted, with no joy, any info seems to be sketchy. On these earlier saw's were there any issues with the carbs ? can the chips be reset (Husky magic box hook up)? If the saw can't run in idle I assume that that manual reset can't be done ?
  2. Got to be 254xp, 9 years, a full pampering after each season, never let me down, original everything. Always in the back of the landrover ready to go !!

    Stihl 200T

In the process of adapting one at the mo, a bit of trial and error. Managed to get one from L&S £1.61 + vat, a mates picking it up and posting it over for a quid... result. Thanks folks.

sussed it, it's the short link 11291821500 that attaches to the carb. Now to find one without silly postage prices, or a 2 week wait time from the local French stihl agent !! thanks for the pointers. russ t.

    Stihl 200T

Thanks, the site kicks out part number 1129 182 1501, but I've come across other references to part number 1129 182 1500 (short linkage) for the ms 200T. Both parts are totally different, I'd like to get this right as postage to the deeper depths of france is a pain and I need asap also I don't fancy lugging up a tree any of the other saws I have. russ t.
