  1. Thanks for the advise. I think i need to see whether tickets for insurance would be valid in France. I thought that it would be a lot easier to get these in the UK but if they aren't valid over there then i will probably wait. Appreciate the help!
  2. Thanks for the input - I was intending on contacting askham bryan as i'm in Leeds for the time being, however i'm planning on moving to France at some point next year and starting a small firm there. The only issue with contacting a facility like Askham is i think that they would want to sign me up for a 10 week course like you say, which isn't really feasible for me at the moment. I kinda assumed that tickets attained in the UK would be valid for working in the rest of Europe as well - I guess thats the first thing i should find out!
  3. Also, does anyone know if tickets from the UK are valid for France and the rest of Europe? Cheers
  4. Hey All, I just arrived in the UK from Australia and have found out that the limited tickets that i have from Aust are non-transferable to the UK (tickets aren't really required in Aust). I've got over 10yrs of climbing and industry experience and was wondering whats the best/fastest way to get tickets as i don't really want to have to do basic drawn out courses to get these tickets. Is there a way to just be assessed by someone to get your tickets here? Also which tickets are required here for climbers? It seems like you can get tickets for anything and everything.. Cheers, Matt
