  2. Yeah, my dad works in a similar field and said he finds it hard to get the stihl ear defenders tight enough to his ears and also says the husky ones just feel like they're a better/sturdier build Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

However I do have a farmer friend who reckons he can get some money off with his guy if I tell him what I need and then my dad also works in a similar field and gets some money off where he goes so I'll have to figure out which would be the best deal.   7. Nah, they don't suggest any suppliers but they do have a kit list, they basically just want you to have trousers, boots and a helmet with the ear defenders and glasses on. They have all the saws and such at the college Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

  12. Hi all, I'm starting college this September to study forestry and I'm yet to buy my PPE. Looking for advice on which are the best for a range of tasks I'd be doing. At the minute it looks as though I'd be getting the stihl advance X-flex trousers but I arnt really sure, Any advice on gloves, trousers, helmets etc. Is valued.
