Yea I can only reckon it'll be the plug. Failing that it still has warranty so I'll take it back in

Hi guys. No still nothing yet. I keep it in the house so I can't think it could be water content due to condensation. I actually have the husky XP oil which I use. Is this the correct stuff? Yea I will try a new plug tomorrow. Might just be a duffer!

It's a relatively new saw. Not really done a heck of a lot of work yet to be fair. Still the standard plug. Although maybe worth changing?

My 550xp has become a bit of a pain to start. Plenty of fuel, primed, choke on but it struggles to start. Once it's been running for a bit though will start fine again once it's been stopped. Can anyone suggest anything? Cheers

Is a 550XP. Thanks for the info and the video guys! Really helpful. I managed to disengage it. Reset it with a set of plumbers pliers. Gripped it and reset it. Unfortunately slightly scrapped the cover but hey ho. Only cosmetic!

Made a bloody rookie mistake today. The brake engaged as I pulled the clutch cover off. Got it off and changed the chain etc then realized it wouldn't go on. Duh!!!!!! What's the best way to disengage the brake with the cover off without doing damage?

Superb. Cheers joe. Just I cut a variety of hard and soft wood so something that would be best for both is what I'm needing

I recently bought a sugi pro light bar for my 550XP. I'm currently still using the standard 325 semi chisel chain. I'm cutting a variety of wood and using it for different things. Hard/soft wood, fire wood, small felling, limbing etc. can anyone recommend a chain that would suit that bar and saw set up the best? Cheers

Spoke to husky technical today. Said there's a carb upgrade kit. Will try this as it's still under warranty and they said I should be running high octane fuel. Like shell v power. Is this the case?
