    The image is neither a real tree nor a photoshopped image, but it is a real person. It is a photograph taken in 1986, by a German photographer, Holger Trulzsch. The model and body-painting artist is Vera Lehndorff. This image is from their book, "Veruschka - Transfigurations" http://amzn.to/1SUPGBs (which is more raunchy than this photo) Oliver
