  1. Today ive just seen this tractor forsale http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Kubota-B7100D-0-8L-3-cyl-Diesel-Tractor-with-Rotovator-Mower-730-hours/253105517636?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649 its in the next village from me and I knew of the man who owned it before he passed away, ive seen him using this set up in his garden and know it was a well looked after machine. Ive been looking for a set up like this for some while and am amazed to find it forsale as I assumed it was sold after he passed away. I know nothing about tractors, but it would be ideal for my one and a half acres. I'm confident it was parked up in running order and the description is 100% accurate as I wont have time to look at the machine before it ends so I'm willing to take a risk. What would I need to look out for before attempting to start it? obviously it will need a new battery after been stood for 3 years and the oil changing prior to attempting to fire it up.
  2. The whole white assembly pulls off once you've taken the 4 screws out which you have, there is no need to remove the circlip its holding the drum on. Sometimes they are tight as there are 2 location pins in it, where it joins onto the crankcase you can get a screwdriver in to lever it off.
  3. If in doubt, take it out. Could be compression or could be rubbish aftermarket parts.
  4. if you mean the white case with the oil and fuel tank, they are different on the 021 and 021c, the 021c has a primer bubble so has a return hole in the tank, the carb is different and the orange handle is different as it houses the primer bubble.
  5. Price is now back to £6.85 for 10, I got one at this price and there was still 9 available, then the price changed to £18 and now hes put it back to £6.85 and only one available.
  6. Stihl HP 2-Stroke Engine Oil 100ml - Box of 10 | eBay
  7. The one way tapered valve has come out of either the fuel tank or the oil tank, its the breather. I would also try and get the exhaust off to have a look at the piston, get some mole grips on the nuts, if they are tight use a bit of heat.
  8. Long time since ive had my hands on a 017, is the carb a single screw adjustment? If memory serves me correct the screw is left hand thread and factory set its 2 1/2 turns out.
  9. Wing it, for machines in the chainsaw, hedge cutter, strimmer bracket, a torque wrench is not needed, you just know when things are tight enough.
  10. Sounds pretty much like a problem we had with a Chinese coil on a stihl fs45 strimmer, symptoms exactly the same so we swapped it for a genuine part and it worked perfect.
