  1. It depends; I prefer a lighter saw over power when climbing. As long as 14" is enough, I use the 201 or 241. For the last three chunks of this pine (not in video) I used my 362
  2. Thanks. Yup, I like to keep it simple
  3. Hmmm, yet another detail to be aware of when the next top goes. Glad you liked the video!
  4. Could this by your next chipper? All electric, configurable up to 1000 HP And what about this one for pruning?
  5. Yepp, postmen in urban areas use these. I think New Zeeland also use them. http://www.paxster.no/
  6. Made this a long time ago, inspired by a video on this forum I cannot find anymore. Tops floating to the ground in slow motion, B&W.
  7. Had to climb this medium birch to avoid powerlines and a small hedge. Simple job, simple entertainment. Guest star: Postman Pat
  8. Thanks! Yepp, they often want to help, but the best help they can offer is stay away
  9. Used spider leg rigging and speedline on this medum pine last autumn. The homeowner worked on the ground clearing some branches when I sent the first down the speedline. Even though I asked "Ready?" and thumbs up, there was some kind of misunderstanding. Fortunately, he was not injured! Good communication with your groundsmen is vital! [ame] [/ame]
  10. I love it! Use it mostly on the ground limbing small to medium trees, but bring it up when I find the MS362 too big and the battery on the Husky is running low. The best thing about the 201 is it's light weight, no problem using it all day.
  11. Oops, guess I forgot to change after yesterday's party... Cheers!
  12. Did a small job for a friend of mine. Chose limb walking over rigging for a couple of branches hanging over some powerlines. [ame] [/ame]
  13. Absolutely! Been using it for 3 years now, and never had a single problem. A single click, and it's ready to go. Always.
  14. Thanks! I've been asked that a few times before, and it's just because I feel safer using two. Simple as that :-)
  15. With 90% of the branches hanging over the roof, speedline was the most effective solution for this job.
  16. Steve: Yes, two wire core fliplines. Mick & Starscream: Yeah, I love the T536. It's my only top handle saw, when I need a bigger in the tree, I use the MS362. We used almost 2 days on that ash, and 4 batteries.
  17. A big ash separating into 5 leaning over a summerhouse. Ideal for using a crane if it hadn't been for the location; an island where no cars are allowed. Helicopter was too expensive, so a number of tequnices had to be used to bring her down safely. Enjoy in HD. Thanks!
  18. Ferguson & Rich: I guess it was Ekorn trepleie? Company run by highly skilled Englishmen. I've had some contact with them previously. They finalized the big oak shown as the first tree in the video, as I had to stop half-way because I found a birds nest full of hatchlings and I was going on holidays the next week. Climb safe and take good care of the animals
  19. Thanks for the nice feedback from all of you! Will post a few more vids soon.
  20. Thanks! Tjøme? That's just a few km from where I live. What brought you there at this time of year? Tjøme in the summer is just so much nicer!
