We are looking for a chainsaw /forestry worker in West Dorset/ South Somerset area . Mostly estate work , felling softwood/ hardwood / bio mass , also other estate maintenance work . Minimum of Cs 30/31 , First Aid +F . Own transport and saws , wedges , sledge hammer also some experience of using a tape and able to identify tree species . Self employed , regular work , varied work and we are interested in advancing your skills and experience where needed . Hi . Can you send me a brief list of tickets and any experience . Can you drive and have a vehicle as our work is off the main roads etc , have your own kit/ saw ? Are you self employed ? Chainsaw operators / hand cutters . Looking for extra hand cutters in the West Dorset area . Mostly firewood to 3 m , with some softwood depending on your experience . Ability to use a tape and have own saws etc , CS 30/31 as a minimum with +F first aid . A vehicle to get to site is essential and also local to the area due to the current situation . hi . You are probably going to pay 3k for a saw that cuts and cuts true . There are cheaper about but depends what you want to cut with it . How much were you planning on spending ? Mike

Looking for S/E chainsaw operators . Prefer forestry background as cutting to length so tape experience useful . Mix of firewood / softwood thinning . Own PPE and saw etc . Day work , 08.00 - 16.00 . Minimum of CS31 , NPTC , . FAW useful . Weekly payment by BACS , If ticketed and new to industry then small thinnings are possible but a days work is expected . Please e mail on [email protected] . Hi All . Looking for chainsaw operators to fell hardwoods for firewood , bio mass and softwood for timber and chip . CS 30 & 31 , also First Aid +F . Plenty of work available but experience of cutting to tape and measuring would be expected .also an awareness of working with mechanised production . Driving licence needed to get to sites , mostly in Dorset . Long established forestry contractors looking for chainsaw / forestry / estate worker . Varied work including firewood processing in the wet periods . Usual cs 30 /31 expected , First aid + F . We are looking for a team member , you dont need to be able to fell the biggest tree or have done so just a willingness to work . Measuring skills as we cut softwood , and we are willing to train / mentor and generally help some one achieve . Regular and prompt payment by BACS . Ideally looking for a worker with chainsaw and a minimum of CS 30 / 31 or new units , hopefully First Aid + F . We work mostly on the Dorset / Somerset / Devon borders for large estates . Looking for Chainsaw operator , minimum CS 30 /31 and First Aid +F . Mostly firewood and bio mass but depending on experience there can be Softwood felling for harvester etc . Some general estate skills would be useful but more importantly a willingness to work and possibly learn new skills . I am not looking for the one who has felled the biggest tree while using the biggest saw but am prepared to help someone get ahead . Self employed with transport and basic kit needed .
