  1. Thanks for the helpfulness dear man! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. The site, I see no function on how buy a piston. I've sent them emails but have had nothing in return. Where do you buy yours from? I want to make sure it's the real deals. [emoji269] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Leave the tree alone! [emoji111]🏽️ Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  4. Eh? But I did stop the piston with a pipe cleaner. Let's say I accidentally jammed the piston with one.
  5. I wanted to do that but was not really possible without pressured air. Just made sure to be very careful to not knock anything anywhere. The machine hadn't been used in 3 years.
  6. It worried about particles getting down into the piston chamber?
  7. With my finger, was surprised my self. Git the whole thing seated nicely, then it snapped In Fairly easily actually. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. The pot is underneath? If so all looks nice. Is the scoring bad? The reason I'm in this far is because of something I put down the piston hole I shouldn't have that I think caused that scoring. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  9. What I'm concerned about.. Well one yes, that the rebuild will be sound [emoji269][emoji16], but firstly the scoring on the piston, that I assume was made by the wire, it's left small grooves... I rubbed them, to break off any teeny filings. No serious damage though right? Also I didn't lubricate the piston before setting it back in place (without a special tool). Ach I'm such a worried noob!

  12. I'm going with joke [emoji1417]
  13. Ok, so I took the cylinder out, under that was I circular disc mounted on the ?.. Flywheel? On top of the disc was a nice green bit of fluff, score. Within the flywheel, upon turning it I see nothing down there.. But then my view is obstructed by it obviously.. Is it possible I've rectified my ingenious usage of pipe cleaners? [emoji1374]
  14. I can't tell if this is a joke or not . Impulse nipples and rubber boots?
  15. Feel like I need slightly more in depth instructions, not sure what some of the lingo means.
  16. Hey guys, thanks for the help. I tried the pipe cleaners, that was the mistake, they might have been strong enough but the piston pushed them out cept for one which got stuck. It wouldn't come out so I had to finish turning the clutch So... I carefully rotated the clutch to bring the piston down, could detect no feeling of debris between it and the cylinder. Where it falls in line with the top of the cylinder and creates a tunnel the wire is resting on top of that. I haven't moved the saw around a whole bunch so the wire won't have got into many places, it's a bit oily. Do you really think there is a chance it can have gotten into other places I can't see? I've manifested a magnet fixed to a long pole used for aid batteries. Well almost manifested, should have it in a few hours. If I can get it all out with this what do you people of the saw think? I'll try not to be biased to thumbs ups [emoji1417] Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  17. I've got some metal strands and a bit of fluff in the cylinder, I can see it through the spark plug hole. How do I get in there to clean em out? It's a 346XP husqy Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  18. Hello guys and possibly a few ladies. I've just completed up to cs39 up in Yorkshire with arbfortraining, based in Lichfield, and I'm looking for a part time job. I've been pruning and labouring in jungles for years, now I'm looking for some paid work. Any help is greatly appreciated. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  19. What can one do about vine weevils? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  20. Life is unsure where I'll be, but I do have a life in Costa Rica where I plan to start my own niche arborist company. I get hot and sweaty as it is, usually going bare foot with a top off when working there.. So I imagine I'll do as much work as I can with a silky saw mostly naked. Donning a pair of the most breezey type a trousers I can get when I need to. They sound extremely hot and I'm second guessing investing in them at all as heat exhaustion is definitely going to be a factor. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  21. Where s a good place for chaps, I've been using honeybros so far but they don't seem to have any. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  22. Mmm, great idea thanks. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  23. Now I'm wondering what would be the best cooling helmet.. I've gone for the https://honeybros.com/Item/Husqvarna_Technical_Arborist_Helmet Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  24. Mmm maybe that's what I need then. Would you say a better pick for cooling? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  25. Hello mate, do they have vents in the back? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
