  1. thanks for the replies folks, reading my intial post again it looks like i should return to school and learn how to spell !! it took two years to get my apprenticeship, i'm 24 now and i can see a hell of a lot of young guys in the position i was 9 years ago, its hard but all they can do is keep at it eggsarascal can i ask where the irony is?
  2. its not all down to the british population being lazy since the day i turned 16 until I gain my apprenticeship in greenkeeping i applied for 364 jobs in varying industries, put an appeal out on local radio, went for every single trade test i could, wrote to every single plumbing company with 50 miles of me and got 2 replies saying no, i done weeks of work experiance with various companies somethimes working 90+ hours in the week but still no job i even wrote to the bloody prime minister who referred me to my local mp who asked what benefits i was getting....... there are millions in the same situation that i was in The construction industry has to take on more apprentices, its the only option to plug this gap after what i've went through getting my qualifications i intend to use the knowledge gained to its full potential if you can take on an apprentince they go for it, you never know what its took for that person to get to that offer and what it could do for you and your business
