I’m looking for a cheap compact tractor to run a Hakki Pilke OH60. The processor needs 15hp and weighs around 250kg. The processor gets used 4 or 5 weekends a year and is tucked away in the shed the rest of the time. I don’t know anything about compact tractors so I’m curious to see what others are using. Whats worth a look? Thanks, G

Thanks. I'm buying pallet logs. I've got a small processor which will handle it and 2.5m pallet is relatively easy to handle. Chip wood logs are cheaper but some would be too big to handle without a loader. I've got enough room for logs, proccessor and my own sticks but I don't have any room to store and season so I'm keen to sell as soon as it's off the processor. I'll try to get old logs so the wood is semi seasoned. Thanks again.

That's ideal, cheers. Im looking to by a load of reject pallet wood, process the lot and sell half to cover all the costs. That way I get free firewood and a drop of excercise. Is there much demand for unseasoned softwood?
