1. One more question, do you think its worth me getting all this in terms of cutting speed, power etc. or perhaps there's just as good a chain that will fit my current set up?
 2. ah ok i see. thanks benny at present i have 325" 1.6 mm 62 16"drivebar so if i get the 7 tooth sprocket kit and a 3/8 bar and a picco super 3 chain thats me all set then? as far as i'm aware they don't make a picco super 3 chain for 325" hence the need for a new sprocket?
 3. how much are you asking? what type of trees do you have, is it green and could you deliver it? perhaps you could send me a photo?
 4. BOWLS! eventually, lots and lots of bowls
 5. I'm primarily looking to buy sycamore, beech, fruit trees (apple, pear, cherry) ash, elm and alder though other hardwoods i will consider. Ideally i would like a tree or two's worth for now, roughly around 20" diameter preferably green or left for up to about 6 months and cut into logs about the height of a regular sackbarrow. these will eventually be used for greenwood turning should that give you a better idea of what i'm after! I don't drive so transport would be ideal however it can be otherwise arranged. nr victoria school

Do you have any particular hardwoods in mind ? If so what size logs are you looking for?

I am based just north of nantwich - about 30 mins from wrexham - and have a mixture of ash, alder, cherry, oak and eucalyptus in various sizes from 6" diameter to 18" diameter and all in various lengths/rings. You are welcome to come over and take a look. should also be getting some beech in soon as well
