  1. Hi folks. Im looking to build up a base of sub contractors. Im based in south Birmingham so please get in touch so we can have a chat. Cheers Ben
  2. I think the hat could well be a company must! I must confess that I have never had an issue with insects including bees and wasps etc in any Hi Vis clothing. When don't you get wasps hovering around you for no good reason? Any numpty can wear a dirty hoodie and jeans and not be employed as well.
  3. Im sold on Hi Vis from a company image and safety point of view but if the lads like wearing the gear and its comfy and hardwearing im more likely to keep them in it. I know that I always looked after my kit that bit more if I knew it was good stuff.
  4. Hi Mark I think Highways might have something to say about only having Hi Vis Arms although its a good point. If it had the strips across it I could get away with it as the Orange or Yellow isn't actually needed I don't think.
  5. The cheaper general purpose shirts don't seam to last as the Vis bands get destroyed quickly and the lads say they sweat to much. I will have a look at the Stien in anger then if you say they are worth the money and I am a big fan of long sleeved light weigh shirts for the winter. Just as we move into the spring. I will check out the embroiders as well. cheers for the tip off. Any thing to keep things looking semi professional. I don't like Vis jackets at all.
  6. Hi All I really want my guys in Hi Vis printed T shirts but the moaning about them is unbelievable. I like the look of the Stien Hi Vis so the question is; What have you found to be the best/most comfortable Hi Vis? Who/where do you use to do you company branding/printing of work wear? Im in the Midlands but if the price/quality is right then mail order can be a wonderfull thing. At Times. Cheers
  7. I have been climbing for 10 years for large companies on Local Authority contracts and private firms on private and small contract works. I have all of the relevant chainsaw tickets to include; large Felling Rigging Prunning Chapter 8/Red Book IPAF etc. I also have my 7.5 ton driving license with my +E so I can tow trailer with a Gross Train Weight of 12 ton. I will be looking for contract work from the 2nd of May 2016. Please get in touch via the forum, [email protected] or 07817553346. Many Thanks Ben
  8. The upper surface was rubbery with no visible pores. The lower had tight gills.
  9. Evening all. Im a new member so go steady please? These where at the base of a lime. There was two more cluster of two Stools. The trunk above them didn't sound hollow/soft but there was die back in the crown although the ground below was pretty heavily compacted so I put it down to that and a lack of maintenance. Any ideas im all ears. Ive got my PTI in a few weeks so its a bit of a confidence knock coming up against some thing im completely stuck on.
