  1. Hi all, I'm in my final year of the FdSc Arb at Myerscough and have been reading through the forum for a while with some interest so I thought I'd join in and add a reprobate to the ranks I'm aiming to go down the consultancy route career wise, tackling implication assessments for planning, woodland management, monitoring works etc. It also seemed like the wise choice as I'm extremely clumsy and there are far too many things I'm quite 'attached' to that would undoubtedly be severed if I were to wield a chainsaw . I'm also terrified of heights and would need a fall arrest system just to put a light bulb in. Seriously I dont know how you climbers do it, I take my hard hat off to you. I spend a lot of time rambling in the woods around East Anglia and regularly take photos of fungi, unusual or spectacular trees and anything else of note arboriculturally so perhaps I could contribute. Howdy

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.

See you inside.
