  1. Did the job blind (no quote involved)!- arrived and carried the work!
  2. It’s the bark that’s that’s thrown me - never seen laburnum with that bark
  3. They’ve all been disposed of now I’m afraid
  4. Never thought to have a look at the leaves nearby!
  5. A new one on me - if anyone can assist thanks
  6. Any thoughts on what’s ailing this tree. Hopefully you can see the brown gunk in the last photo Thanks
Quick response and good specific instructions where to dump the chip. Cannot be faulted.
  7. Thanks gents - looking at it now pretty sure it’s a cotoneaster
  8. Wonder if anyone can assist with this one, unusual pink heartwood, Thanks in advance
  9. Have a job to remove a swathe of Sea Buckthorn (horrible stuff) was thinking of keeping the larger bits as firewood anyone know what it's like to burn? thanks in advance Archie
  10. Wonder if anyone can assist in the identification of this sapling thanks
  11. Gents Thanks for the feedback. The blossom display was unaffected. Though a number of small branches had died back from the tips and have been removed. I have knowledge of this tree for the past 4 years and there has been no root disturbance in that time, and the tree is in an area with no footfall. Having said that it is about 10ft from a tar footpath and I'm not sure if that's been dug up in the last couple of years. Thanks Archie
  12. Hi Folks Guessing this cherry might have some kind of canker. It had a great display of flowers this year but doesn't look great at the mo. If it is canker will it spread easily to nearby cherry. There's been no damage to the tree where the gunge has been coming out. Was wondering if it's treatable? Thanks in advance Archie
