You will only receive a certificate from Lantra, however, if you undertook the NPTC assessment then you should receive both certificate and card.

Cheers Paul,
That's in the diary.

As long as one member of your team has done the 3 day course, i would have thought that would cover it for working on such sites.

I always think that when the leaves return and everywhere looks lush and Sunny that it's like the office just got fresh paint and new carpets! Working outdoors is a Joy this time of year.
I couldn't agree with you more on that Silky, it's absolutley fantastic this time of year. Especially when the sunlight is streaming through the canopy.

Cracking job there Maria, and as you say, you are doing all the graft yourself so it will be a fair sense of acheivement and pride when its all done.
And a top effort for not killing the fence

And that’s really the whole point of this thing. We are all capable and confident people, like the fellow who lost his life in the bay. Sometimes our confidence in our abilities blinds us to small mistakes and unnecessary risks. Most of the time our skill and experience overcompensates these risks, but the accumulation of small mistakes multiplies by a cube function and it only takes a straw to break the camels back. Lets be aware of the unseen risks - like fatigue and complacency.
Absolutely spot on post, and the paragraph above hits the nail on the head.

Hi
If anybody needs to tip woodchips I have a site 10 mins from Barnstaple. We work groups of children and small or large quantities of chippings would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Stu

I tend to use brake cleaner and an old toothbrush for heavy sappy deposits or hot soapy water for normal cleaning. I also either use the compressor or a can of air duster, and a quick squirt of WD-40 for lubrication.

Because of the door step, I would go for this from Echo:

Yep, had mine repaired in 2007 and went through a lot of rehab, so stick with whatever program the physio gives you. I was back running within 4-5 months, not far or fast mind you
I have about a 5% restriction of full movement but you learn to live with that and compensate by adjusting positions when kneeling and climbing etc.
Good luck with the recovery.

Instead of using the cogs from a pushbike, how about a set from a motorbike. They would be a bit more substantial. Of course you would need to adjust the chain to the desired length.
Good luck and I would be interested to see how your creation turns out.

Slap a stihl or timberwolf badge or her, she'll be gone by the weekend!
Does she have to be locked in the shed/garage as well??

I have found this absolutely brilliant for assisting with compiling COSHH assessments.
Getting started - COSHH e-tool
As long as you have the Safety Data Sheet as supplied with the product, you are laughing as its pretty straightforward.
