  1. I always think that when the leaves return and everywhere looks lush and Sunny that it's like the office just got fresh paint and new carpets! Working outdoors is a Joy this time of year.

I couldn't agree with you more on that Silky, it's absolutley fantastic this time of year. Especially when the sunlight is streaming through the canopy.

  2.

And that’s really the whole point of this thing. We are all capable and confident people, like the fellow who lost his life in the bay. Sometimes our confidence in our abilities blinds us to small mistakes and unnecessary risks. Most of the time our skill and experience overcompensates these risks, but the accumulation of small mistakes multiplies by a cube function and it only takes a straw to break the camels back. Lets be aware of the unseen risks - like fatigue and complacency.

Absolutely spot on post, and the paragraph above hits the nail on the head.

  3. Yep, had mine repaired in 2007 and went through a lot of rehab, so stick with whatever program the physio gives you. I was back running within 4-5 months, not far or fast mind you :001_smile:

I have about a 5% restriction of full movement but you learn to live with that and compensate by adjusting positions when kneeling and climbing etc.

Good luck with the recovery.

  4. Instead of using the cogs from a pushbike, how about a set from a motorbike. They would be a bit more substantial. Of course you would need to adjust the chain to the desired length.

Good luck and I would be interested to see how your creation turns out.
