  1. Hi Paul, The top growth is all brown. No green left on it. Not sure what caused this. Half the leaves on the smaller Monkey Puzzle next to it have also gone brown, but I reckon this can be saved. Anyway I have been advised it is dead and need to come down. Also it is leaning precariously across the road (at least its away from the house!)
  2. I have an 80' Monkey Puzzle in my front garden (see photos). It's a big mother. But its dead and it needs to come down. Is the timber any use to anyone? Is it worth anything? I've heard its not great to burn but might be just what someone is looking for. I live in Manningtree, North Essex. I'd like it to go to a good home it was once a magnificent tree and I would guess one of the oldest Monkey Puzzles around Tom
