  1. Ideal set up that! I want to start out with me little Peugeot 306 an a trailer till I can afford something bigger haha!

  7. That's what we have at work although ours says something like spezial under the s-350 bit so not sure if it's exactly the same model

  12. Some neat machines there lads! Joy have you been selling wood for a while or is it a new venture?
  13. put up pictures of your delivery vehicles and processors or any other methods of cutting your firewood
  14. get friendly with a few local farmers and they might have some blown over trees down fields they want removing and also might pay you to do it as well then you've got the wood as well to sell on.
  15. I'm Current college student and looking at firewood for a secondary income aswell as working for a tree surgeon! Is it worth doing or is it too much hard work and myther? Bearing in mind il be cutting with chainsaw and splitting with an axe! Cheers people! Judging what some of you lot say it sounds like it can be a good source of beer money!

  19. Yeah I have got a few people I do gardens for I know it's not arb and some will look at it funny but it's getting my foot in the door! And possible clients for the future
  20. I know it is a big ask as I get the impression it's what you can afford to charge sort of thing, I just had this thought about what people in the industry think! I respect you all that say get experience for a few years it's defiantly the way! College is good but it doesn't give you experience! Thanks all for your time! Looking fawards to getting in to it!!
  21. I am still at college doing forestry and arb but I would just like to find out how people price up jobs, I eventually want to go self employed and also just interested what has to be considered in pricing! Thanks!!
  22. I live in Cheshire if you know where that is! But yeah I've heard working on the lines is a good job but very challenging!
  23. Yeah that defiantly sounds like a good plan il just go with the flow I think get experience in tree surgery if I don't like look into forestry or somthing! Thanks for your time!
  24. Yeah guess your right been happy is somthing that's got to be or else you won't want to wake up to go to work at all
