  1. Could have sworn it was a young sweet Chestnut but to be honest I was concentrating more on the strange disease/rot it seemed to be riddled with? Any ideas anyone?
  2. Anyone tell me what this is? Found it in a sweet chestnut whilst out walking yesterday?
  3. Thanks monkey business, do you find that you struggle to get it onto drives or turn it round easily? I am gonna keep the 8x5 for my log splitter and just in case scenarios.
  4. Pretty much sums up why I have hesitated! Thanks for the advice!!
  5. Am just bout to push the button on an Ifor 12'x6' tipping trailer to replace the 8'x5' non tipping trailer i have been running since setting up my business. The reason i am on here and hesitating somewhat is the size of the bloody thing! After going to see it, it seems massive to me and I am just a little bit worried it might be too big to manoeuvre easily for the domestic work we do. Anyone else run a trailer of this size and if so what are your thoughts? i am towing on an L200 so I can't make the most of the capacity but I will probably trade up to a Landy if things go well so I can stuff it to the brim! Cheers
  6. I have a vacancy for a self employed groundsman in our thriving new business based in Stafford. I am happy to take someone with experience and CS30/31 or someone looking to get into the industry that I can put through training and qualifications. The right candidate will have own transport and a strong work ethic and be willing to learn. We are a relatively new company and we are growing rapidly so for the right person there will be a great opportunity to progress into a leadership role in the near future. If you are interested please PM or give me a call on 07896 121102. Cheers Stu
  7. Cheers Hodge, would you recommend it then? It certainly looks the business!
  8. Sorry if this question has been asked elsewhere but I have done a search and can't find an appropriate answer. I am looking for a new arb truck and have been offered a mint double cab pick up by a mate which i would have to convert to a tipper. My question is does anyone know what sort of capacity would I be able to get in this and also where would be the best place to get it done in the Midlands. I did originally want a 130 single cab tipper which provides more than enough chip/brash space but sod all tool storage so I am wondering if this double cab may be the better option. Any advice/input is greatly received. Cheers Jones
