  2. This is not an evidence but I'm sure your experience tell the true.
  3. You're right, I just arrived in this house one month ago. The owner explained me that an arborist pruned this tree 3 years ago. It seems that the pruning was to hard, big axes were cut. Today I see new branches had cracked, hope there will be the last.
  4. There is no obvious effect, no fungies. Thank you for the link.
  5. Hi, yesterday I saw a branch of my tree falling down slowly. Hopefully there is no damage but it was impressive. I wonder why a branch like that could breake, do you have any idea ? I thank about some hydrique stress because it was a very hot day. Here the Pinus radiata pictures. Thank's. IMG_4904 by Florian Molenda, sur Flickr
  6. With a RW, you have to use your right foot with pantin but the left one couldn't be use with any pedal ? So i think it's better to use SRT for ascending. I received recently a volcano prusik in 12mm, it's the best rope i've used for ascend with two prusik.
  7. Ok, so in a first time I'll keep my 2 prusiks and buy stuff for SRT as soon as possible. Is it possible to do SRT with a rope wrench, I don't know the methods, if you have some links or tricks I'd appreciate it.
  8. Hello, I've got a question about foot locking, it seems that many people use this technique for access, working (floating crotch system) and competitions. During my formation, teachers told me that it is dangerous and this method should be not be used. Is it dangerous for descending ? For another reason ? We used 2 prusiks on each strand, we can descend as we want but it seems a little difficult for foot locking. So i want to try one Klemheist on 2 strands. Thank you.
