We are currently recruiting for an experienced climber to join our team at Westbury, Wiltshire. Job Title: Team leader/ climbing arborist Location: Westbury (Wiltshire) Salary: Dependant on experience We are currently recruiting for an experienced climber to join our team at Westbury, Wiltshire. The successful candidate must hold NPTC units CS30, 31, 32, 38, 39, have excellent arboricultural knowledge and experience and be able to team lead if required. Accreditation in Chapter 8, EFAW and use of stump grinders would be desirable. The role will also involve completion of health and safety documentation including risk assessments, vehicle and equipment checklists and implementation of tree work specifications to a high standard. The ideal candidate will be a self motivated individual with a flexible approach. A pro active and positive, professional attitude is essential as well as an ability to work well under pressure. A full, clean driver’s license with B+E, Additional category C1+E would be desirable. TLG are looking an experienced climber to join our team in Wiltshire, undertaking all aspects of arboricultural works to BS3998 2010.The successful candidate must hold NPTC units CS30, 31, 32, 38, 39 as a minimum; accredited certification in wood-chippers and stump grinders, NRSWA Chapter 8, EFAW, NPTC CS 40 and CS41 would be desirable. The ideal candidate would have key skills in tree and fungus identification and a good working knowledge of modern arb practices. The role will involve completion of H&S documentation i.e. JSRAs, vehicle and equipment check-lists etc. You must be a self motivated individual with a flexible, pro active and professional attitude to work.
