  1. They are very wet..I say about 50 percent moisture..I was hoping to start kindling them by the end of the month . would that ne possible? There not long either there only about 18 inches long.so would that speed up drying?

  10. yes suppose your right.. is there any easy way to break pallets up?.i still would not use pallets as my main source of materials.it would just be a bit of a bonus if you can make bags of kindling for free (exluding labour)
  11. are tilting log saws any good for cutting up lenghts of timber? did anyone ever put pallet boards through a kindlet? how many pallet boards would it take to make up a 40x50 cm bag of kindling?
  12. hi guys thanks for all the input..i bought the machine and collecting it off a mate.i paid £2800 for 2009 model.joinery off cuts would be ideal as they are alot easier to handle. @genesetsteve. they are cracking bags of kindling you have there.does spurce or pine give as clean of a bag of kindling as the off cuts do?

  14. hi all,just looking for advice on what would be the best materials to run through a kindlet.i wont be doing logs so i would have to keep waste to a minimun and also what saw would you recommend to prepare the materials to the correct size.. thanks anthony
