Highly skilled and competent climber. Punctual and wont let you down contact me 07950110290, email [email protected].  C.v and references are not a problem.

    Thanks

  3. Ive worked in sweden. Its a great place to work, pay is the same as here in england but the cost of living is much more expensive. Aspen is used all the time and it is sold in all the garages not sure if it mandatory.

  4. Due to cancellation i now have this week spare. if anybody needs a hand just give me a call 07563686462. Subby climber, you know what to expect and you will get that plus more. cheers sam. North east maybe yorkshire if its worth the travel.

  5. Not interested in discussing what could'a, should'a would'a been done in regard to the tree.

Guys paid to do a job and done to perfection from cutting to rigging to clearing, aerial or on the ground, 100% and a standard of work to aspire to IMO.

Thanks for sharing, a pleasure to watch :thumbup1::thumbup1:

    second that. very tidy job

  6. Anyone know the going rate for a climber in sweden??

I was out there for a while and getting 1700kr a day (£135ish) to start then managed to get to 1900kr (£155ish) after a couple weeks proving myself working for a private company in Stockholm. 6 months tax free I believe.....

  7. I am currently looking for full time employment as being self employed is too hit and miss. I've been working out in Sweden for a couple of months in the hope that things would pick up on my return but to no avail. I've been climbing for 8-9 years, holding team leader/charge-hand positions throughout my time so i am very capable of running teams and taking control of work sites. As i am just as capable and happy to be part of a team or take on a position as a lead climber which ever you prefer should you have a position available. I have a National diploma, i hold NPTC certs 30 30.1 38 39 40 UA 1 2 2.1 2.2 2.3, IPAF also. I am easy to get on with, reliable and punctual. I feel that i have always become an integral part of which ever company i have worked for in the past and always working to my maximum potential whatever the given task. I am available right away to work anywhere in the country should the right opportunity present itself to me. I can send my CV to anybody who may be interested in having me work for them or if you wish to contact me my mobile number is 07563686462 or pm me. Cheers Sam.

    Still looking

  8. My family's from jersey. Not sure about work out there but lots of very nice houses and gardens. Obviously limited market but lots of nice property's to counter balance. The roads are narrow and steep in places. Nice place to holiday if nothing else.

Are you looking to work for an established company?

    Joe

Yeah it looks a lovely place, I'm not sure how many arborists are actually in jersey but I do believe the company I am going to work for are well know and established there. I'm going on Sunday so I will soon find out. I'm hearing all sorts of things on the tax out there, any ideas?

  9. Good Job Sam! Ivy is no match for a Climber of your Calibre....hope you are well and full of busy. Long time since we saw you at Premier.

Yo Mr Fox. Things are really quite at the moment got a good job offer down London and jersey. Freelancing up the north is never going to work, there just ain't enough work there. How's the prem boys doing?

  10. ...but its good to check back with the "theoretical"(?) BS3998 world periodically such that we challenge what we do in the real world...and then carry on of course

Sam, as I just pm'd you, my interpretation of your post was to seek opinion from your peers (and me :001_rolleyes:) and I questioned what I saw. Not to criticise, in any way, shape or form (not least as I couldn't do that kind of work anymore) but merely to better understand why it appeared heavy, at least in parts.

This is exactly the same tack I would adopt on an ArbAC assessment and, along with your explanation (thank you,) I would have "ticked the CR box" :thumbup1:

So, when would you like to go through the rest of the stuff?

    Cheers..

    Paul

Ive worked for many AA companies. Speak to dan about that, i just turn up and climb  bs3998 is not always possible although we try it cant always be achieved. I think it should be changed to british standard best practice on the day :thumbup1:
