I am looking for experience mainly in ground based work. I have my level 2 (CS30/CS31) chainsaw ticket, CSCS certificate, emergency first aid and a full driving license.
I would like to gain the ground based experience first, before progressing on to climbing and gaining those qualifications. I have been self employed with a forestry firm for the past couple of months. However the work mainly consists of chemical spraying, tree planting, beat up and fertilising.
I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to work as a groundsman on the west coast. Any advice or guidance on becoming involved in arborist work, would be welcomed.
