  1. Thanks Maxwellarb, Trailer parts were very helpful. Replacement 5 stud hubs to fit the existing axles are available, at a price! £113 +vat each. I'll have to seriously think if I can justify the cost.

Yup, there is the cost to consider, but you'll know that you've done the job properly. If you do go for it, please stick some pics on here. :-)

  2. A lad from work and myself were working in an old couples garden a while back and old Doris bought us out no less than 25 cups of tea!! She had alzheimers, bless her, and her husband told us he would rather she was occupied through the day than try to stop her. Very nicely made it was, too.

  3. Got my pair of these today and initial impressions are very good they are a tad on the stiff side however once they are broken in a bit I have every confidence that these will be properly comfy and hard wearing just like my old Tibet forests

They are just as shockingly bright as the pictures show but as others have said I'm sure that will soon fade 😀👍🏻

Good for you, they really are a lovely pair of boots. I stupidly replaced mine with Airstreams just to try something different, and I absolutely hate them!!! Will be going back to the Forests as soon as I can, they do them in matt black now....

  4. Give Trailparts a call, 01923 253366. Explain what you want, and they should be able to source 16" rims with the Ifor stud pattern. There is a fair bit of clearance above the wheels on a flatbed, so you may get away with not modifying the suspension. Try to change as little as possible, as the running gear on Ifors is well designed and bomb proof. Good luck, and please post some pics if you are successful :-)

  5. Mr Plogs has asked me to forward on his advice:

    Excellent advice I'd say.

    Spot on!!

  6. Because if the tracker is not functioning at the time of theft they will try and get out of paying up, in the same way if you forget to set the burglar alarm and the burglar alarm is mentioned in the policy they will say you are at fault, in the same way if you leave keys in a car you will not be covered.

What the tracker does is to mitigate your loss if it enables you to find it.

    Fair enough. 👍
