  1. Morning guys, has anyone got some decent ‘during photos’ of making they’re own arb body with the aluminium planking? I see different ways of it being attached, some steel frames, some alli. Cheers ?
  2. That would be awesome mate cheers, I'll keep that in mind!
  3. Haha I bet mate! I could see me leaving some slings and instantly regretting it. Fingers crossed I'll get some work out there first though! On a side note, recognise your name pretty sure we follow eachother on Instagram! ( internet Arborists? Haha) My IG is phil_thomas5
  4. I'm off to Sydney for 5 months in January if all goes to plan! Hopefully get some climbing or even groundy work, was planning on just paying for extra baggage, I'm sure that one peice of kit you leave behind will haunt you whilst you work out there!
  5. Hi all, Picked up a lockjack from the arbshow and took it for a spin yesterday, thought id buy a new cambium saver whilst I was at it. It's the stein alloy ring one, the exact one I've previously used. Anyway first time testing the Lj, nothing too crazy, and the two alloy rings seem to have friction damage? This seems a bit premature and weak? I'm guessing it's still safe to use as there are no cracks. Cheers, Phil
  6. I tried both at the arb show and was really torn between the two, the simplicity and lever of the lockjack did it for me. Spent yesterday trying it and loved it, will definitely take some getting used to though! Can't be as rough with the grab to descend as I was with the prussik! Haha
