  1. Do any of you have fisher stoves? I picked one up a month or so back but it doesn't say what kW it is or what model. Round the doors, the writing and the trees where brass but were pretty grubby and scratched so I re painted hole thing black. Not bad for £50 tho! 2. I had it . Numbness in the two fingers nearest the thumb . There is a sheath in your wrist that the nerves and tendons pass through . When you get " pumped " from repetitive exercises/work it constricts the tunnel sheath compressing the nerves . They just cut the the sheath to allow for expansion . Day surgery only . A few stitches and some rest to heal . Mine was caused by heavy braking and throttle control on a bike .

Think planting has a lot to do with mine knocking hundreds of stakes in! Been bad this week disking up big road side trees.

I get something similar to that aching hands then if I try picking something up my thumb and finger have no power to grab, nearly lost a few cups of tea! I also get a numb feeling up my fore arm. Sounds like a trip to the docs.

  4. I packed my business in due to stressing over finances etc. what made it worse was seeing others doing a bad job and still getting work and getting away with it when I was trying to do the job right. I now work on an estate, took the job thinking it would ease the worries of business. But it's just as bad I get so frustrated and stressed at the speed things happen, attitude of other staff and laziness. Still do my own jobs at weekends to get my "hard graft fix"
