We are a small tree surgery and grounds maintenance company based in Fishers Pond near Winchester. With workloads increasing we are looking to bring in full-time climbers and ground staff to assist in our varied tree works in the commercial, domestic and utility sectors.
Applicants for the climbing arborist roles should have some industry experience and CS units up to 306 and CS308 as a minimum (CS39 or equivalent) with CS307, 309 (CS40, 41) and Aerial Rigging being ideal qualifications. A driving license is essential.
Applicants for ground staff need not have any industry experience or certification, however pay rates depend upon experience and qualifications. Ideally candidates will have CS up to 203 (CS32). For the right applicants we are happy to provide on the job training but a driving license is essential.
Other desirable qualifications to include: UA1 and UA2.1, 2.2 and 2.3 certs, chipper tickets, CSCS, Signing Lighting and Guarding, EFAW and any other industry relevant certification.
Further important attributes include reliability and good time keeping, enthusiasm and a good problem solving ability, a high level of common sense and be able to work as part of a team.
Suitable candidates will be invited to attend a paid trial day to demonstrate their ability and see how they fit in to the team. Applicants can request to be employed or self-employed with good pay rates offered dependent on skills, experience and attitude.
