  1. My latest video. I think I must've been half depressed when I made this one. . . Live to inspire.
  2. Thank you, I have a lot of fun with tree action video. I plan on staying with it. : )
  3. Thanks for the encouragement guys : )
  4. So sorry. Seems unfair that the coolest companions have such a short time with us. Your writing on this matter gave Ernie's life great honor. I saw a bumper sticker today that said, "Dear Lord, help me to be the kind of man my dog thinks I am." Then I saw your post. Your post is evidence of the kind of man your dog thought you were.
  5. Video I released 5.19.14 A short explanation of simple speed-lining (not comprehensive) with a touch of my usual music/tree work style of vid.
  6. I don't know if anybody has said it yet because I am not energetic enough to read 92 posts, however, I hate it when people refer to a bar as a blade.
  7. A ring is a ring. Love that statement.
  8. Thanks, I like that piece. It was copywrite free too.
  9. I know huh! I hope I get a chance some day to personally thank Pitbull and Ke$ha for their supreme contribution to the Arborist world. They probably wouldn't like me though for cleaning up their song.
  10. No, but I've scared them really bad. Also, I've knocked them silly a few times.
  11. I have three GoPro cameras. Hero 1, Hero 3 white, Hero 3+ Silver. I shoot in 720 wide. It gives me a nice clear resolution and high fps.
  12. Because of the song I used. Some musicians block their music from being played on YouTube via mobile devices, iPads, iPhones, iPods, all smart phones etc. They are afraid people will just use their mobile devices to listen to music on YouTube and thus not purchase it. The only way to watch my latest video is on a PC or Mac. There is an app called iTube available for mobile devices that I have heard will play copyrighted material as though it's a PC.
  13. 720 wide. Basically you want the most HD setting you can get along with the most FPS. Depends on which GoPro camera you have.
  14. This is a short video I just recently shot of a fairly simple speed-line pine job. Septic tank was very near base of tree marked by a do-not-cross-ribbon. Hero-Arborist, Lawrence Schultz, who traveled all the way from New York City to work for fun, is the climber on this. We were basically taking our time and just hamming it up for the camera. The young man clearly has skills. Thanks Lawrence.
  15. Wow! "Lord of the Rings" That will make an exceptional tree-vid title. Wow! Wheels are turnin. . .
