  1. I use to work for a company that contracted to amey on the street trees. I even did around half the trees on Humphrey road and most of the trees in the green hill area of Sheffield. At first it seemed a good job removing trees that were obviously diseased or sructuraly unsound. But I quit after six months as was expected to fell an unachievable amount of trees a day and all to strict health and safety guidelines with regular site audits. I also ended up agreeing more and more with the campaigners and it wasn't what I went into Arb job for so suit good experience but wouldn't do it again. I am now a freelance climber.

  5. Forestry is good but hard work and poorly paid price per ton is low as can't compete with machines that can do twelve times what one man can do in a day. Worked on price per ton before lots of traveling and long days for little money and you don't get paid till timber has left site then you have to wait 30 days last time I worked on price per ton didn't get paid for 3 months. So whilst it is very enjoyable the money is just not there in my experience
  6. Cheers for that will drop him a text

  9. No not sure what they did I think they replaced the carb
  10. Just got my 540t back after being repaired seems ok can't wait to use it in anger
  11. Hi there I had exactly the same problem with min bought it brand new in February and use it a couple of times seem like an excellent saw, but then when I had warmed the saw up I would find it wouldn't start then tried keeping the saw ticking over while hanging on my the harness but found that when I picked it up I would go to make a cut and it would stall and then not start after pulling it over about a dozen times. I took it to the dealer and they have now had it six weeks and I am waiting for an answer as to what went wrong. I think they have replaced the auto tune carb which was the only thing I thought it could be. Luckily I still have an ms 200t but that has the common carb problem as well not sure which saw to go for now.
