Was thinking of maybe having a look at that hilux or something similar, would be ideal for light arb work and comfortable enough for trekking round the country subbying, could cut costs by getting rid of my navara and 130 tipper by having a "one suits all" vehicle but i,m going nowhere near that one now! Wondered why it had been for sale for so long!

I agree, but remember to us its just a bit of wood and 30 secs with a saw, nowt! But such things are out of the average joe publics reach, i own and run a commercial fishing boat aswell as forestry and arb and am amazed at what people pay retail for crab lobster and fish! Two a penny to me but joe public is happy to pay it!

My logsplitter is a factory made horizontal tractor mounted one called "easi cut" ive had it years and when my old tractor went the journey ive been running it off a hydraulic power pack from seawinch i bought with a hauler for my boat, it coped well enough only a 5.5 honda engine and the hydraulic oil tank only held 1 1/2 gallons
