  1. I understood that the holes are to allow air to escape as it is a very tight fit also when it comes to changing them it's a 5 min job clamp in a vice chop though the wood just above th metal drill a few holes in to the wood it collapses in tap it upsides down knock the new one in and like people say 2 rings help to stop the end split better than 1

  3. Hi I'm 22 currently working full time and have been in the industry since leaving college in 2009 but am looking to move as the company I work for is just not the same any more i have worked my way though from a grounds man with no qualifications to a climber and forestry worker that is aiming to eventually work In the consultancy/inspection area I have done a lot of felling from woodland thinning to big hedgerow trees I have my tickets for climbing and have experience but am more looking to ether be a grounds man or forestry worker, would be willing to climb but because it's currently not a daily thing I do lack confidence

repollarding street trees etc would be fine

    Qualifications rage from nptc:

    Cs30

    Cs31

    Cs32

    Cs38

    Cs39

    Pa1

    Pa6

    Manually fed wood chipper

    Brush cutter

    Sit astride ATV

    First diploma in countryside management

I am also part way thought a RFS level 2 in arboriculture not just to further my knowledge in the work place but it is a keen interest of mine and I aim to further my knowledge on the theory side of things as I do a lot of reading and research myself to learn more

Any feed back would be great cheers
