  1. calm yourself down Johny.
  2. Hi that's ok, thanks for the constructive criticism. I actually like it and the colour was chosen specifically to tie in with the image of Landscope. All the vehicle are red with white sign writing.the font has been chosen as it has been proven to be the most readable. But seriously, The vehicle does attract loads of attention and has been the best investment I have ever made even though it's only just done 4000 miles lol Looking forward to a good year Brian
  3. My 130 tree surgery vehicle which is brand new and converts to a winter services vehicle with fritter body and plough
  4. Well let me speak to the land rover mag first as i really would like a feature on the vehicle and i am sure that they would like a big reveal.
  5. Picked up the new defender yesterday! Brought it back with the gritter body and the plough. Will be going down next week to collect the tipper body. Been a long haul but definitely worth it! Now just have to contact the land rover mag and tell them its here now!
  6. Right all Gritter body now built, snow plough fitted and that's the interchangeable tipper body now built. Just waiting on my certificate of conformity and letter of compliance so that I can apply for my IVA. The defender looks fantastic and cant wait for the big reveal. think land rover owner international are going to do a feature hence the lack of pictures floating about!! lol Blown the budget out the water a couple of times now but I am sure it will be worth it! Watch this space!!
  7. Well that's the defender in the bodybuilders just now getting kitted out!! Watch this space!!
  8. I have approached land rover owner mag to see if they would be interested in doing a feature on the vehicle. So who knows. .... I am looking forward to getting the defender on the road but now due to the money it is costing it looks like I am going to have to sell my 03 plate 110 double cab. Really wanted to keep it but I will be advertising it on here as when the new one comes it will have to go to fund the invoices! !!! If anyone knows of someone who is looking for a 110 double cab then give me a call Cheers
  9. Well the defender left the dealer yesterday and is now down at the body shop. Work will be starting today on the conversion. Its been a long slog but its not as hard as you may think and now I have some knowledge it should have been quicker than it was till now!! (
  10. You don't pay for the defender until its taxed and that cant happen till after the iva. I can put you in touch with my dealer and my body building company as they doing a cracking job for me.. hang off for a couple of weeks till I get the approval process for land rover started and I will keep you posted
  11. Hi pete I know what you mean. Bought a 08 plate second hand and it broke down on the way home. Spent £1200 on repairs and shipping cost back to seller and it was still broke! That then made me spend the money for a split new one. I want a vehicle for the long term as my plough is vehicle specific so it had to be a defender and I thought buy new and get the warranty
  12. I hope that buying new should make it last a bit longer. Did think about a td5 130 and refurbishment but I wanted a new toy. Already have a 110 double cab that has been the most reliable car ever.
  13. I have a husqvarna pro 21 awd and its a cracking bit of kit leaves a lawn finish much better finish than the ferris mowers. Had mine for years with the combi deck and a flail mower and also a snow blade. Buy one
