  1. Try your local agri college, they often do a non-certificate casual user course which cost around about the £100 - £150 mark, other wise an nptc cs30/31 small tree's and cross cutting course and test will set you back circa £800.
  2. Just been made redundant and have received a retraining grant from welsh assembly gov of £1500, can be used vocational training only. Presently hold cs31/32, pa6, HGV 1 and various machine tickets (tractor, telehandler, atv) what would you suggest my next move should be (I'm 42 so not keen on climbing work) would be looking to go self employed. Anyone know of a good training facilities in South Wales area. Want to stay in the Arb industry if at all possible. Previous job was a gamekeeper/forester. Thanks Steve.
